A brief shot appears of a handwritten music manuscript titled “Idyll-Elegy,” marked “moderato legato.” Jonathan plays the piano, his back to us with a light shining in front of him. He’s playing the elegy he wrote for his uncle’s funeral. It’s a simple tune, with a lilting melody that rises and falls one note at a time over simple arpeggiated chords in the bass. The video concludes with a brief shot again of the handwritten music manuscript.
