Book overview. This edited collection explores theoretical and practical questions about multimodal, digital production through lenses of rhetoric/composition, digital writing studies, English studies, and the humanities.
Abstract. Born is an experimental online magazine that brings together writers and new media designers and artists who collaborate to create multimedia interpretations of literary arts. These new compositions reveal a tension between old and new literary and art forms, and so we consider how Born is engaged in a historical praxis of composing and cross-pollinating between media.
